Susan Anderson, BA.in graphic design - Converted her graphic talents into textiles. This imagery began to form in textiles, developing in Toronto a line of custom area rugs and tapestries in wool.Having succesfully worked in the industry for both commercial and residential applications and winning awards for best Focus on Design from Azure Magazine. Silk has now become the new medium for her work. Artwork that is produced from watercolours are then converted into silk embroidery. In collaboration with fine craftsmanship from Suzhou. Samples of both painted and embroidered is the outcome of the new lines Suprimavera.Colour is the common thread between these two mediums and workshops on theory and their application are done several times a year. Last workshop at DW (Designers Walk) accredited to ARIDO members.
